Thank you so much to everyone who helped Angel Heart of Hope in any way to raise funds for pediatric cancer cure research. A special thank you to: 1. RMS Principal Kate Malone, teacher Kaci Roper and staff for hosting a Spirit Week for us, the students, parents and businesses who supported us. 3. Everyone who supported the 6th RHS "Gold Out" including Principal Darah Huffman, teachers Bri Jones, Anna Webb, Cindy Armstrong, Michael Petit, RMS students and staff for hosting it in Bella's memory to raise awareness for childhood cancer. 4. We need and believe in prayer!!!! Prayer is sooo powerful!!!

The message is titled- Hope Through Prayer. A massive weight was heavy on my heart; a dear friend fighting stage 4 cancer. I hadn't seen this friend in a few months and before our visit, I was praying for God to bless our time together, all for His glory. My anxious thoughts flooded my mind before I pulled into the driveway. Many prayer warriors have been praying for her healing and I saw God's grace unfold before my eyes! Immediately after parking, my friend comes out with a beaming smile on her face and this glow about her. It was such a relief and not what I expected at all! She was so happy to see me and our visit was beyond special. We shared our hope in Jesus and how God was answering prayers by providing circumstances that she was told weren't possible before. Sometimes, when we think that there isn't any way to solve our problems, no matter how big, God can make a way! We both believe in the power of prayer and the impact of God's love and mercy. We just need to be reminded to trust and surrender our burdens to Him. On October 5th, my friend will have a major surgery to remove some of the cancerous tumors. Please pray for Tammy's complete healing. As we spoke, she was glowing and had this peace throughout our conversation that surpasses all understanding. She said she never felt this way before and it wasn't until a few weeks ago when she was praying and surrendered her fears and anxieties to God that she received this overwhelming peace and has had it ever since! This is the power of prayer and God's love for each of us, if we just reach out to Him. He will never forsake us!

The apostle Paul knew the power of prayer when he wrote to the people in the church of Corinth. He said he trusted that God would continue to deliver them from peril "as you help us by your prayers". And when God answered their prayers, He would be glorified as the people gave Him thanks for the "answer to the prayers of many."

Our prayer warriors and Paul's supporters were engaging in the ministry of intercession, which Oswald Chambers calls "a hidden ministry that brings forth fruit through which the Father is glorified." As we focus our minds and hearts on Jesus, He strengthens our relationship and how we pray. He blesses us with the ability to give the gift of true intercession to friends, family members and even strangers we meet along the way. God hears the prayers of His people. Even when we don't think He is listening, He is with us and will always love us!

Scripture verse: 2 Corinthians 1:10-11 On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers.
