September 1, 2022-Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

In September, we will be fundraising the whole month and all of the proceeds will go towards pediatric cancer cure research. MUSC and the Osteosarcoma Institute will be the two beneficiaries for the research awards. There are several ways you can help us raise funds even without donating money!

Beginning today, each adult can complete up to 75 surveys. Each one takes about 1 minute to complete and earns $2 for our nonprofit by selecting us when you sign up.

Just text CONTRIBUTE to 94012 on your phone and select Angel Heart of Hope.

This is an amazing opportunity through HundredX surveys and they DO NOT SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION! I have done this twice to help two other nonprofits. For each adult who completes 75 surveys, their name will be placed in a raffle and 2-$100 VISA gift cards will be awarded. Please share this info with others!

eXp Realty will be hosting a BBQ dinner for us on Thursday, September 22nd from 5-7pm. Deadline to purchase tickets is Sunday, September 18th.

Also, RHS will host their 5th annual "Gold Out", during a home football game, that Bella initiated her freshman year during her cancer journey to raise awareness for childhood cancer. They will take up a collection for our nonprofit during the game. The date will be September 30th.

Please keep our ministry in prayer, the families we serve and the medical teams that care for them in prayer. There are infinite prayer needs and our strength comes from God. Keep your focus on Him and pray! If you would like me to add your name to the prayer list, please email me at: brenda@angelheartofhope.org and I will update the prayer list regularly. You can also email me with any specific prayer requests that you want me to pray about privately. God is love. Treat everyone with love and kindness.

The uplifting message this month is: Strength and Encouragement

As we face various situations at different times in life, discouragement can steal our

energy and joy for life. It makes us doubt and believe that we will fail before we even try to succeed.

In the Bible, we read where David dealt with discouragement but he didn't let it control his life and motions. He stood up and faced discouragement, refusing to let it overcome

him. How did he do this? By strengthening himself in the Lord through prayer and faith in

His Word.

We can handle discouragement in the same manner. We don't have to live in bondage to discouragement because we can hope in Jesus and His Word which never fails. Next time you feel overwhelming despair or discouragement, tell yourself: I refuse to live in this despair. God is good and He wants me to trust Him and He is with me. I am going to place my hope in God and trust in His Word and His unending faithfulness.

Scripture verse: 1 Samuel 30:6 David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.

Wishing you all many blessings!

In Peace and Love,

Brenda
