Greetings, I pray this finds everyone who is back in school off to a good beginning. With COVID cases increasing again, it is important to take extra precautions during this pandemic to protect yourself and others. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. We are initiating our fourth and final program to support pediatric cancer cure research this month. eXp Realty and Benton Capital Mortgage Lending Company will be hosting a fundraiser on September 28th to benefit "Angel Heart of Hope". It will be located at 812 W. Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer, SC 29650 from 5:30pm-8:00pm. There will be a $15 admission. Please join us for an inspirational evening of fellowship, food, silent auctions and more! Information will be shared on our social media as the event gets closer. If you or any business you know have something that can be kindly donated for our silent auction, please contact tammy.dixon@att.net Please purchase tickets through this link: https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=RWYL6JEKY8RHG We are honored to announce that ALL donations and funds received by Angel Heart of Hope during September will go towards pediatric cancer cure research. 75% of the total received will go towards Osteosarcoma Institute for pediatric bone cancer research, in memory of Bella, and 25% will go to M.U.S.C. for pediatric brain cancer research. Together, we can all make a difference!

We are selling t-shirts until Sunday, September 12th. The shirts are a regular cut, take 2 weeks to arrive and if you are local, you can pick them up at Mrs. Wright's home or have them shipped to you. Please use this link: https://stores.inksoft.com/angelheartofhope/shop/home Our hearts go out to every family who has lost a child to cancer or a life threatening illness and the ones still fighting. The colored cancer ribbon for children is gold. There are many ways to help raise awareness for pediatric cancer. You can wear gold in honor of the children or write your local governor to request more funding than the current 4 cents out of every $1.00 that goes towards pediatric cancer research. Support pediatric cancer organizations and non-profits. Write a report on pediatric cancer or hold a fundraiser through civic, social or church groups. Write the postal service requesting a stamp for pediatric cancer. Donate to pediatric cancer research. After September, the fight for these children and their families continue and they need YOU now more than ever to be their “Angel.” Thank you for your continual prayers and support of children with life threatening illnesses. There are many unexpected financial burdens placed on a family! Please remember the children who are fighting, those in remission and the families who have lost a loved one. God is our strength. Please remember everyone in prayer and our world which is in chaos. If you would like me to add your name to the prayer list, please email me at: brenda@angelheartofhope.org and I will update the prayer list regularly. You can also email me with any specific prayer requests that you want me to pray about privately. Keep your focus on Him, pray, hold onto scripture and His Word and He will show His presence. If you can just take a few minutes a day to think of what you are grateful for and thank Him, your worries seem to fade. Please treat everyone with love and kindness:) Live by the "Golden Rule." Hera Lainey, a music singing artist and dear friend created a single "Some People Never", written and sung by her in memory of Bella. We need and believe in prayer!!!! Prayer is sooo powerful!!!

The message today is so fitting for this month- "In God's Hands." At 4:45 am before I left for a long road trip I prayed and on the way I asked God to send His angels to protect me. Several hours later, I stopped to get gas and shortly after, noticed that I had a low tire. I got off at the next exit in West Virginia and asked at a gas station where the closest tire shop was. When I stopped at the tire place, a nice gentleman saw me and I asked him if he could check my tire because it was going low and I thought I had a nail in it. He said that he didn’t work there but was having service himself and that I was in the best place. Then, a lovely woman at the desk said to me, "Honey, don't worry. You are in "Good Hands" and in the right place. We will take care of you." The kind gentleman could tell that I was stressed and asked me to come over and have a seat and asked if I wanted some coffee? I politely said, “No thank you. I just need to get home and still have 5 1/2 hours to drive.” He asked me about my Bella pendant and I told him about her passing away from cancer. He asked me if it was from osteosarcoma? I continued talking and stopped mid sentence asking him, "Did you just ask me if it was osteosarcoma?" He said, "Yes" and I asked him surprisingly, "How did you know that!?" He said that he lost his dad and niece to osteosarcoma and has visions. He just felt it. We began sharing our stories and he told me that he and his girlfriend have a charity in town where they feed 900 people every 2 weeks. I couldn’t believe it!! Then he asked me where I was going in SC? I told him, Greenville and he said, "I have relatives there!" Then the gentleman next to him said that he has family there also. I had such a great time with these humble and kind people. Quickly my tire was fixed and I asked how much I owed and to my surprise it was only $20! I couldn’t believe it!! The owner came out and told me that his son was in seminary and in his last year to become a Pastor. I told him about our ministry and asked if he would like me to say a prayer for all of us. He said, “Of course!" He gathered everyone together and I prayed. He told me afterwards that he never had anyone like me come into their shop and asked me when I pass back through to please stop in and say hello. They were all waving at me as I drove off and it was truly a God thing!! I was so thankful not only for being placed in "Good Hands" but in "God's Hands." Scripture verse: Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Wishing you all many blessings! In Peace and Love, Brenda
