School is out and many look forward to spending time outdoors:) There is nothing like being in nature surrounded by God's creation to make you see His beauty all around us. I hope everyone gets to enjoy time with family, friends and being outside.

Families who have a child with cancer/life-threatening illness don't get to enjoy the many things we do. They face many challenges including extra financial burdens and stress due to hospital stays. Your continued support gives hope to these families also through our gifts and financial assistance programs.

Hera Lainey has legally changed her to name to Thomasin Grace. She is a music singing artist and a dear friend who created a single "Some People Never", written and sung by her in memory of Bella. It is available for purchase on itunes and various music sites. 100% of the proceeds from this song will go towards our ministry! It is a beautiful tribute! The monthly message is: Eternal Hope and Encouragement in God

In the early 1900's, an aspiring writer working as a busboy at a hotel, discovered that a famous poet he admired was staying there. The young writer shyly gave him some of his own poetry which the poet later praised at a public reading. This encouragement resulted in the young writer receiving a university scholarship and his own successful writing career.

A kind word of encouragement can go a long way, especially when God is in it. Scripture shares an incident when David was on the run from King Saul, who was trying to kill him. Saul's son, Jonathan sought David and helped him find strength in God. "Don't be afraid," he said. My father, Saul, will not lay a hand on you. You will be king over Israel."

Jonathan was right and David became king. The key element of the effective encouragement that Jonathan offered to David is found in the simple phrase, "in God."

Through Jesus, God gives us "eternal encouragement and hope." As we humble ourselves before Him, He lifts us up like no other or nothing else can.

Every day there are people surrounding us who need the encouragement that God gives. As they cross our path or we reach out to them like Jonathan sought David, we can gently point them to God through a kind word or action. God will do the rest. Regardless of what this life may hold with all the many trials and tribulations, we have hope in a bright future in eternity for those who trust in Him.

Scripture verse: 2 Thessalonians 2:16

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father encourage you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. God loved us, and through his grace he gave us a good hope and encouragement that continues forever.
