October- Hope after the storm

Our hearts and prayers are with everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. The devastation is catastrophic and some communities look like a war zone. Many are still missing, without power and the death toll keeps rising. Here are some ways that you can help:

  1. Donate blood to the Red Cross 2. Donate financially through local churches supporting Helene assistance efforts, Salvation Army, local shelters and food banks, United Way and Operation Blessing to name a few. 3. Help your community-check on friends, neighbors and the elderly. Offer a meal, shower, place to stay or food to others. Assist in efforts to clean up or help those needing to file damage claims through FEMA at: disasterassistance.gov. 4. Donate food to your local food banks. 5. Pray for areas affected. It will take a long time to rebuild. Many lost everything.

Thank you to everyone who supported our September campaign by raising funds for pediatric cancer cure research. Some fundraising things rolled over into October so our announcement will probably be sometime in November.

Even though Childhood Cancer Awareness month has ended, unfortunately, cancer has not ended for children who are battling and those who will be diagnosed each day with this horrible disease. They need your ongoing support, especially during these unprecedented times.

In addition, we are looking for 2025 business sponsors to help support our programs and families on this journey. You can help by sharing our nonprofit information with businesses you think may be interested. Have them contact: brenda@angelheartofhope.org for a sponsor packet and remind them that we are a 501(c)(3) and that their contributions are tax-deductible. They can also view the Sponsor section on our website for more information: www.angelheartofhope.org/sponsor

Families face many challenges including extra financial burdens and stress due to hospital stays. Everyone's support gives hope to these families through our gifts and financial assistance programs. We appreciate all of your support!

Hera Lainey has legally changed her to name to Thomasin Grace. She is a music singing artist and a dear friend who created a single "Some People Never", written and sung by her in memory of Bella. It is available for purchase on itunes and various music sites. 100% of the proceeds from this song will go towards our ministry! It is a beautiful tribute! Thomasin's website is still: www.heralainey.com.

If you donate to UNITED WAY through your paycheck, you can have our ministry as the recipient. Just write/type in Bella Muntean- Angel Heart of Hope Ministry. If you have chosen our ministry as a recipient of United Way, please feel free to let me know because we would like to thank you since United Way is unable to release donor information.

Also, if you make any donations on our FACEBOOK page please let us know because they don't release donor information.

The message for this month is "Words of Hope."  Last weekend, Hurricane Helene affected several states with a vengeance! I haven't seen so much devastation in our area since we moved here.

Seeing the death toll rise above Hurricane Hugo that happened over 5 yrs ago is very sad and the numbers are still increasing. The photos and the videos on television are unbelievable! Communities, schools, businesses and major highways are impacted. It is catastrohpic in many areas! Some say that it could take years to repair the major highways. Many are still without power, food, gas and resources to help them with basic needs as people work tirelessly to bring restoration in many areas.

It is wonderful to hear stories of how communities are coming together and helping each other after the storm. Every single one of us will face various storms in our life at some point or another. It might be a natural disaster, a harrowing health diagnosis, the loss of loved ones, an addiction, job loss and the list goes on and on!

Our only hope to see us through these storms is Jesus! After praying over our 2025 scripture theme verse God made it evident with over 14 signs that it should be John 3:16- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

As we bravely face each storm that comes our way, remember that Jesus, is our only and everlasting hope, no matter what happens.

Scripture verse: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Wishing you all many blessings!

In Peace and Love,

Brenda
