September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Greetings,

Each September we raise funds for pediatric cancer cure research. All of the net proceeds benefit medical/research institutions that research better treatments and cures so that one day no parent will have to live without their child and have a broken family like us. All of the net proceeds in September will benefit MUSC and OSI.

We are offering various ways to support our cause. You can volunteer to take online surveys. Each one takes about one minute to complete, they don't sell your personal information and each survey earns us $1.60. Each adult can take up to 75 surveys and if you complete all 75, you will be entered into a raffle to win one of two $100 Visa gift cards.

Also, we will be selling t-shirts and will post the info on our website. In addition, monetary donations are always accepted. Feel free to use this link for more information-

More families are reaching out to us and their many needs are ongoing. There are extra burdens on families due to hospital stays and when their child is in treatment. One parent usually has to quit working and becomes the 24/7 caregiver which places a huge financial strain on the family. We help families with gift cards for food, gas, emergency needs plus financial assistance for rent, mortgage, utilities, medical bills, funeral expenses and emergencies.

Also, when a child receives one of your gift donations during treatment, it lifts their spirits and makes them feel loved during their battle!

We thank all of our annual Business Sponsors for their support! We are ALWAYS in need of business annual sponsors to assist our families throughout the year and are looking for 2024 Sponsors. This is how we receive some of our greatest amount of funding to help support our programs.

Our Golden Sponsor is Johnston Orthodontics. If you or your child needs an AWESOME orthodontist, look no further, and call 864-877-2929. We are so thankful for the excellent care that they provided to Bella.

Our Silver Sponsor is D&D Motors. If you are looking to buy or sell a vehicle, please don't look any further for excellent service and contact them at 888-253-5950.

If you know of any business who would like to become an annual sponsor to support children and their families on this journey, please have them contact brenda@angelheartofhope.org.

Remember our ministry in prayer, the families we serve and the medical teams that care for children with life threatening illnesses. We are truly humbled and blessed to be on this journey of faith. If you would like me to add your name to the prayer list, please email me at: brenda@angelheartofhope.org and I will update the prayer list regularly. You can also email me with any specific prayer requests that you want me to pray about privately. God is love. Treat everyone with love and kindness.

Hera Lainey has legally changed her to name to Thomasin Grace. She is a music singing artist and a dear friend who created a single "Some People Never", written and sung by her in memory of Bella. It is available for purchase on itunes and various music sites. 100% of the proceeds from this song will go towards our ministry! It is a beautiful tribute! Areshi, Thomasin's partner is also a musician at:www.areshimusic.com. Thomasin's website is still: www.heralainey.com.

If you shop on Amazon, our former link is extinct- http://smile.amazon.com/ch/83-0996431. Amazon no longer offers a portion of purchases to nonprofits and has sadly discontinued their smile program.

If you donate to UNITED WAY through your paycheck, you can have our ministry as the recipient. Just write/type in Bella Muntean- Angel Heart of Hope Ministry. If you have chosen our ministry as a recipient of United Way, please feel free to let me know because we would like to thank you since United Way is unable to release donor information.

Also, if you make any donations on our FACEBOOK page please let us know because they also don't release donor information. It is best to go directly to our website to make a donation so we can acknowledge you:)

This month's spiritual message is titled "Praising God Through The Storms."

We will all encounter storms sometime during our life. It is up to each one of us how we will respond. Honestly, I admit that fear, anxiety and stress often reigned supreme for me during Bella's cancer journey and again during my mom's recent illness. Bella taught me to surrender to God and she had this peace about her suffering because she trusted God wholeheartedly. Admittedly, I still don't have that trust in surrendering 100% and I am a constant work in progress. However, the one thing I know without a doubt is that Jesus is always with us. This reassurance allows me to move forward in faith, even through the storms.

Even when we think He isn't present or answering our prayers quick enough, Jesus is with us. He is waiting for us to draw closer to Him, trusting in His will and greater purpose in our lives. We may not understand the reasons for the storms in this lifetime but we will know once we get to heaven. Trust me, I have a loooooong list of questions for God:)

God knows us better than we know ourselves. He knit us in our mother's wombs, knows our every thought and need. His gifts and presence are constant blessings of reassurance in our lives. For example, after you woke up this morning, the breath that you took was a gift from God.

During my mom's hospital stay, I am constantly in God's word and the only way I can find peace to get me through the day. Every person that is part of her care team receives one of our ministry cards. I share Bella's story and how God has blessed our lives.

My brother shared with me that one night a person came into the room in the evening and asked him if mom would like a balloon? He said, "Sure." When I saw it the next morning, I gasped! It was a huge sunflower balloon. The sunflower is the flower for sarcoma cancer, the type that Bella had which was osteosarcoma. I couldn't believe my eyes and knew it was a sign from God and Bella and it gave us all so much peace.

Being back in the hospital triggers the ptsd and Bella's suffering. But God is present, He is giving me the strength to endure. He is using another storm in our life for His glory. To God be all of the glory, honor and praise!

Scripture verse: 1 Chronicles 16:8 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.

Wishing you all many blessings!

In Peace and Love,

Brenda
